I’d have the golf. Passion and soul is all well and good, but in the real world build quality and comfort are more important.
I’m waiting for the Top gear team to review the 2009 RS Focus

I’ve got a 147GTA and I have to say I’m impressed by the build quality, especially after all the stories I’d heard… mind you I did have a Lancia integrale before, so anything is built better than that !
not long to wait then, the TG website has some preview photo’s of upcoming episodes, I believe the RS is on this sunday.
I remember reading a review for a Lancia once. The journalist said “It’s a beautiful car. And you will have much time to admire it when it’s broken down and you’re on the hard shoulder.”
so the focus finished first and the golf 2nd and the alfa 3rd in places on the track??? what im trying to get at is whats better to get and why between the focus and the golf? like which one had more power and handling and stuff?
They reviewed it last week against the Megane R26-R. Hammond and Clarkson agreed that the Renault was more fun on the track, but day to day the Ford was better. Was quicker round the track than the Shelby Mustang.
Alfa + Q2 = Winner on the track!

I just don’t get it why Alfa didn’t fit it’s 3.2 V6 cars with the Q2 from factory, when you pay that much for them already an extra 500€ or so wouldn’t really make the buyers chose something else but it would have made for a completely different general opinion of the car.
Alpha romeo = shite.
alfa is a nice car, but i would like to see the old arese 3.0 v6 engine in this car.
